Definition of Dependency Level:
Low Dependency
Elderly who are mentally and cognitively sound, but need assists with medication compliance and health care, demand 1 assistant for personal care.
Moderate Dependency
Elderly suffering from moderate cognitive impairment, with emotional disturbance
and / or mobility constraints, incontinent wheel chair bound, demand 2
assistants for personal care.
High Dependency
Elderly suffering from severe cognitive impairment, with challenging behaviour
and in need of 24-hour surveillance and additional intensive care; or frail elderly
who are bed-ridden, incontinent and require tube feeding, 2 assistants for
personal care.
B. Respite Care Residential Service
Provide respite care residential service charged bi-weekly (minimum period of stay is one week).
